Hi family,
Just a quick note, an unedited note LOL...sorry, I have no video and no pictures but definitely a praise note!
Recently, at our apartment during one of our MoveIn prayer meetings...some of our neighbourhood boys came to pray with us. It all of a sudden turned into a Bible Study and we ended up praying in groups. We were praying: for our neighbours, for each other, for other MoveIn patches via weekly prayer newsletters, for other churches across the world via Operation World BUT at the dinner table...one 9 year old Portugese or Polish (?) boy came to know Christ as his personal Lord and Saviour!
It was very encouraging to also see the Ghanian boy, who we first encountered, remember what we were discussing about. He even confirmed to his friend his own beliefs and was encouraging this new boy about the Good News, praise God!
Now the first week of summer camps for UrbanPromise Toronto's Camp Freedom just passed. I was amazed to see two 5 & 6 year old girls including two 7 & 8 year old girls come to believe in Jesus Christ. What was different this time was that it was the leaders from my team who shared the gospel and witnessed to them!
Another great thing to add is that three of my neighbours from our apartment (one of them being the superintendent's son and another being the Ghanian boy with his younger brother) have decided to attend our summer camps. They have previously attended our March Break Camp as well and I'm just thankful we have more opportunities to pour God's love into them. I'm also thankful that some of my leaders in the team are neighbours from the apartment. All I can think of is the term...'reproducing disciples'.
Please pray for their salvation decisions, for their journey with Christ, and for us as a team here to continue following up with them as we desire to intentionally disciple and mentor these children in their spiritual growth. To direct them to depend on Him and not us, for us to decrease and that He may increase.
Please pray for our UrbanPromise Toronto's Camp Freedom and for our MoveIn apartment in the Milo Park Gate patch. We have a gentleman staying with us for the summer as well as one lady staying with our new female team member at her house. I have hired both of those summer roommates to work for us in Camp Freedom.
Please pray for Jane and Finch.

BABY BOY
Trevon Oliver Wilkinson was born on Sunday, June 3, 2012.
"Bella"...along with her friends...were some of my Jr. High youth back in UrbanPromise Toronto's Camp Hope (Scarborough). She just turned 17 and the father of the boy was present including both sides of the families. She was in labour for 3+ hours and the baby came in at I think 6 lbs. & 10 oz. at around 10 AM. There were several complications but praise God they are both fine now.
